For Jesse, building has never been just a job, it’s a craft, a community, and a calling that started from the ground up. Growing up with a builder for a father, Jesse developed an early love for creating and problem-solving. He began his career as an apprentice, gained his qualification, and went on to establish his own business here in Hawke’s Bay.

From his early years on the tools to managing complex architectural homes and design-and-build projects, Jesse has always been driven by a simple goal: to deliver homes built with integrity, care, and precision. He believes that when a build is well managed, it shouldn’t be a stressful experience, it should be an enjoyable one.

That same philosophy led to the creation of Drinkrow Homes, a family-owned custom home builder in Hawke’s Bay founded on three enduring values: family, quality, and connection. These values continue to guide every project we take on across the region — whether it’s a new home build in Napier, a renovation in Hastings, or a bespoke home in Havelock North.

As President of the Hawke’s Bay Certified Builders, Jesse is looking forward to supporting fellow builders, apprentices, and homeowners alike.
